Albason's Ihaw-ihaw at Baybay Beach: Seafood : what else?

by jayjayc Written Jul 18, 2013

-Too much writings online tell how abundant seafood in the City of Roxas are, need not to stress too much about the story - Roxas City is the Seafood Capital of the country
-Once you set foot on land from the aircraft or ferry and got an empty stomach, head to Baybay Beach where all seafood restaurants are, just a 5 minute or less ride from Roxas City airport
-Had dinner with the Tourism Office and his nephew at Albason's Ihaw-ihaw Restaurant (Albason's Grill Restaurant) and like many other seafood fanatics - it satisfies
-By the way, they offer not only seafood but some grilled chicken and other meals as well
-Albason's location (just like any other restaurant in the area) is perfect to have a beer or two after lunch or dinner, it is right on the shore of Baybay Beach
-Price is average / for a party of 3, bill out for Php700 (meals and drinks, Year 2013)

Albason's Ihaw-ihaw at Baybay Beach: Seafood : what else 02?

by jayjayc Updated Jul 18, 2013

-Too many choices for only 1 stomach
-Have your lunch, snacks, dinner at any restaurant in Baybay Beach
-If only the hotel will not provide free breakfasts - will opt to fuel my morning up at Baybay Beach, too

Alma's Grill & Resto: Tasty Seafood!

by Nhess Updated Oct 26, 2009

Alma's Grill and Resto is just one of the many seafood eateries along Baybay Beach, Roxas City. It's best to have dinner here while feeling the evening breeze of the beach. Tita Alma, the grill owner is very hospitable and kind that she gave us a huge discount for our group's bill. We went there a number of times and we will surely come back... And the seafood, wow, best tasting ever! We just had to wait for our food for 30 minutes to be cooked but it was worth it.

Favorite Dish: The best seafood from Alma's Grill and Resto I could say is diwal (angel wing shell), grilled squid, scallop and oyster. Their way of cooking and putting the ingredients all together is undeniably good that it satisfied our taste buds.

Nino's Ristorante e Pizzeria: A Taste of Italian!

by Nhess Updated Oct 26, 2009

Nino's Ristorante is popular among capizeƱos especially to those who are pasta and pizza lovers like me. Their menu is quite unique that locals are keep coming back. I've been to their old restaurant 6 years ago but they transferred to a more crowded place so they can accommodate more guests. The crews and staff are warm so you can be assured of getting a good service from them. The place though is smaller compared to the old one but the ambiance is much better.

Favorite Dish: My fave dish at Nino's is their hawaiian pizza, vegetable pizza and seafood pasta. I've tried others but theirs is more tasty to the pallet, maybe they have a secret ingredient being added to the dish.
