Rustan's: If you want shopping service fit for a royalty

by KookieDough

Well, not exactly for a royalty - of course, it is an exaggeration. But, to me, this is the department store in the Philippines that really thinks of its customers's convenience. And they have been consistent with this for a long time already.Once you have picked what you want to buy, the salesperson usually just gets your payment - cash or credit card - and process it in the cashier counter for you, especially if they see you are tired or bringing a couple of shopping bags with you already.Best Rustan's branches for me mainly because of variety of stocks, accessibility and spacious areas are the ones at Shangri-la Plaza along EDSA, Mandaluyong and at the Ayala Center, Makati City. Rustan's is known to bring to the local shores the current toast in designer fashion, housewares, cosmetics and perfume. They also have house brands that are of good quality also and less expensive. Aside...

Mall Of Asia: No Other Mall Comes Close

by nimato

With the opening of the world's third largest mall - the Mall Of Asia in May 2006 - the Philippines reaffirms her hold as Asia's shopping paradise. The country has three of the ten largest malls in the world: Mall Of Asia (#3), Megamall (#5) and SM City North Edsa (#8). The MoA (inset)l is consists of four mammoth buildings interconnected by walkways: the Main Mall, the Entertainment Mall and the North and South Carpark Buildings.Interesting features of the mall:1. IMAX theater, first ever in the Philippines (haven't tried yet)2. Olympic-size Skating Rink (P280pp unlimited time + P30 for the locker)3. A 20-seater tram for comfy shopping inside the mall (free ride!)4. Huge bronze globe in front of the mall5. A vast esplanade at the back of the mall (for Manila Bay sunset viewing) With 600++ shops, a lot of things to shop for.

Tiendesitas, which means "small stores", is located along Ortigas corner C-5 and has opened lately just in time for the holiday shopping time. What Chatuchak is to Bangkok, Tiendesitas is to Manila. The stores in small to medium-sized stalls are housed in 12 Maranao-inspired single-storey buildings. The stalls are zoned in clusters as Fashion, Food Delicacies, Pet Shops, and Antiques. At the center is a huge stage where live band plays nightly. Within the perimeter are food stalls and restaurants with shared tables at the center giving a big food feast atmosphere come Happy Hour. Open from 10AM to 12MN. Free Parking and ATMs available. Various retail items mostly of local crafts are offered. Hardwood furnitures from Pampanga, knitted clothes from Baguio, bamboo crafts from the Visayas, Maranao bronze handicrafts from Mindanao are just the few items sold. The food stalls offer regional...

ShoppesVille: Searching for cool stuff?

by namiewa

When going out for a day shopping finding the perfect pair of jeans or discovering one of a kind piece can really make a person?s day. Unfortunately not everyone can afford to splurge on luxury Items. This is one of the reasons why Greenhills rocks. Situated in the heart of San Juan, the Greenhills Shopping Center has become the bargain hunter?s Mecca in the metropolis. What used to be composed only of Virra Mall and Shoppes ville with a quaint little pond in the center has evolved into a vast shopping arena that now includes Shoppingville Plus and Theater Mall, plus a tow of restaurants outside. Now you don?t have to wait for the Christmas season to enjoy bargain prices, with Greenhills yearlong tiangges, where you can find everything from cellular phone to clothes and shoes. Of course haggling is always in order If you can only go to one part of Greenhills, go to Shoppesville Arcade....

SM Supermarket: Better quality fruits and vegetables

by kylian74

SM Supermarket has many branches in Philippines, It's spread out in Metro Manila and reaches out to some provinces. There you have many choices of products from grocery items to meat, fish, vegetables and fruits section, You can even find lots of imported prooducts, Thus.. it's possibly you'll find everything you needs here for cooking.Products are more proper presented to public, prices are a bit high compared to street markets but surely not overpriced. grocery, fruits and vegetables, meat and fresh fish A few Philippine pesos
