Currently the only shopping department store in Tacloban, Gaisano's has it all. I would compare it too a Walmart here in the US. I used to take clothes from the US for all of our cousins there in Leyte, but now realize it's much cheaper to just take them on a shopping spree there. The people working there are courteous and very helpful.
What to buy: Gaisano's has it all, from shoes to watches, undergarments and so on. My wife love to find great deals for kids clothing.
What to pay: All prices are labled and firmly set. They do accept all major credit cards also.
