the big sprawling lot beside the Tall Vista Hotel along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road was once a public horseback riding area where locals offer horse rides to both local and foreign tourists along trails and a makeshift race track. It was then bought by the Hotel and in 2011 in converted it to the Tagaytay Skyranch, a mix used area of which the centerpiece is the amusement park with a giant ferris wheel (Tagaytay Eye), several rides and extreme rides like zip lining. The area also has a dining strip in front and the horseback riding was retained and the horse trails are now well maintained.
The Sky Ranch entrance is 50 pesos per person to enter the amusement park (both for adults and children) and there is a pay per ride basis for each attraction like 150 pesos for the ferrish wheel and 100 pesos per person for the zip line.

The Filipinos are extremely hospitable people.
While I was in the Philippines, I realized that I was very well taken care of. The Filipinos are a helpful and chatty lot. They can converse very well in English. Be appreciative of their kind gestures, and you will find that it will take you a long way.
