Sonja's Garden: A Real Garden Harem! Lovely!

by moomoos Written Dec 5, 2002

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Sonja erected harems like this one here all over her garden. It makes you feel really dreamy, and the explosion of colors from the blooming flowers all around you is absolutely fantastic! One can sit in the harem and chat with friends or even play board games amidst this fairy-like setting.

    Where, oh where my Prince?

Sonja's Garden: Fresh Vegetables from the Garden!

by moomoos Written Dec 5, 2002

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

At Sonja's Garden they serve lunch & dinner, but at very early hours. Dinner starts from 1600hrs - 1900hrs. Lunch presumably starts from 1100hrs - 1500hrs. The meals are in set menu - Appetizer (Fruits/Salad/Bread), Main course (Pasta with tomato or white sauce with shrimp or chicken) and Desert (Grilled Sweet Potato)

Favorite Dish: Some of the ingredients in the menu are fresh from Sonja's own garden. Rose petals are thrown into the salad. Sounds weird, but tastes rather good actually.

The desert is the best. My favourite. Grilled sweet potatoe soaked in caramel sauce. Heaven!

By the rotunda there are all the usual fast food joints like Chow King, Macdonalds, Jollibee etc. Head for the rotunda if that is what you desire.

Colette's is famous for its buko pie. There are many locations that sell it in Tagaytay. This one looked the nicest and the pie was delicious.

    Canteen: Don't miss fresh seafood

by Pinoy Written Jan 24, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite Dish: Four of us like seafood, but Nonoy, strangely enough, doesn't like "tilapia". I need to find out the English word for that fish.

Aguila's Canteen: Home cooking still the best

by Pinoy Written Jan 24, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

At Aguila Beach resort, the best thing about their canteen is that Naty cooks the food so tasty and appetizing. It's like home cooking.
