Favorite thing: The capital city of Bohol is called Tagbilaran City. The city is about 2 hours flight from Manila, you first land in Cebu and best to take the ferry boat from Cebu which only cost ranging from 750.00 Pesos to 800.00 pesos in a comfortable and airconditioned ferry boat. This is the south east part of Manila which is the capital of the Philippineslies. It was our very first time to visit the southern part of the Philippines so we tried to do as much research on what there is to do aside where to eat and etc...So, we did quite a good planning after all. Through our asking the locals from VT they help us do a pretty good information. We hired a private car which cost us 2,000Pesos (approx. U.S.$41.00) We visited the many island, the oldest church in the Philippines, the famous tarsier, the biggest fatest pipe snake and the famous chocolate hills. The city's tourist pier is usually busy catering to seafarers and other travelers from other tourist destinations like Dumaguete, Dipolog, and Iligan. There is
Fondest memory: Tagbilaran City has many and many very interesting sights within or in the neigbooring towns.. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons why people come to the city is its proximity to fabulous beaches and dive sites. Bikini beach, which is about 30 minutes drive away from the centre of the city. It is a popular destination. for beautiful white sand beaches. Other beaches like Alona and Momo beach on the nearby Panglao Island are advisable to hung around if you enjoy the beach reasort..
