Cordillera In Ten Days + Corregidor

by nimato

Hi May!Hope these help:The Shangri-La Edsa in Mandaluyong City is very near Victory Liner Bus Station in Cubao, Quezon City. Just a few minutes through MRT or bus.Dec. 27 Manila-->Baguio [P380pp, 5-6hrs, good road]. Victory Liner has round-the-clock hourly trips to and fro Baguio and they have comfortable aircon buses. Inquire also on their premium buses, which must be better. In Baguio, try visiting the Maharlika Market, Camp John Hay, SM-Baguio [the only SM mall in the Phils. without airconditioning] and other attractions. Use the city's taxis when going around [~P35-P50 each ride]. No worries, they're not like their Manila counterparts. Stay a night in the city.Dec.28 Baguio-->Sagada [P220, 6hrs, mostly good mountainside roads with an hour of rough ride I think]. Lizardo bus has hourly trips to Sagada from 6am until around 11am. Ordinary buses only, no other options at the...

Lazing At Boracay

by nimato

Reputedly the most popular destination in the Philippines, Boracay is a small island on the northern tip of the much larger Panay Island in the Visayas. An hour plane ride from Manila, it is famous for its 3.5-kilometer long stretch of ultra-fine white sand on its western side. Even an islander like me who is used to seeing lovely beaches was stunned by its natural beauty. In a nutshell, Boracay has redefined the meaning of white sand beach.

Scuba Diving!!!

hot spring at maquinit- so hot leh!

by alvinn318

its a 15 minute (8km up and down the hill) ride on a tricylce from coron town paying 300 for 3-4 pax. you rent the tricycle and the driver wait 4 u whilst taking the hot dip. the ideal time to visit is in the evening .on a sunny day, you will perspire while on water..so its best if you take it slowly. you may want to go on your day 1 schedule after you arrive from your travel so that you will feel relaxed.entrance fee is 100 per pax. pls do note that there are no shower rooms only changing rooms.

swimming,snorkelling,diving,rock cliff climbing

by 825arg

Start early in the morning at 7 am. Board a rented boat for only 1,500 Philippine pesos for a whole day trip. First stop, snorkel and swim amongst the bountiful of fish while feasting your eyes with the colorful coral garden under you. This is open sea water . Take 45 minutes to enjoy this scene then board your boat because it's just a teaser of what is to come. Next, proceed to the twin lagoon (a mix of salt and fresh water).Timing is important. It is imperative you arrive on time at low tide because one needs to swim your way through a tunnel to view the inside of the lagoon. Once inside , your eyes will be gifted with tall and high rise rock cliffs surrounding you ...while you are immersed within the confine of the lagoon. Spend 30 minutes there before the high tide catches up on you...while the opening to the lagoon is not yet submerged in water. Next is the Barracuda lake...divers...

Places To See During the Rainy Months-June to Nov

by JaneCajuguiran

To add to those that have already been suggested, Cebu would be good to visit. It doesn't rain all that much there. You could go to Moalboal, Badian Island, Bantayan Island or Santa Fe. These places have great beaches and spectacular views. Other places would be Boracay (you'd practically have the whole place to yourself as it is the lean season there), Carabao Island in Romblon or, if you want a really quick trip, the Corregidor.

Wakeboarding at CamSur

by fil_am_ako

Great place to go if you are into watersports particularly wakeboarding. It is highly recommended both for serious and not-so serious wakeboarders. Great place for family trips as there are a lot of other activities to do for kids as well.If you are planning to visit, then enjoy the other places of Bicol Region. Beach resorts, Mayon Volcano, Caves, etc. Explore the web for more information. To read about my personal experience, you can visit my blog at www.myboblovesthephilipinnes.blogspot.com

Get the Best Barber Haircut of your LIFE!

by jumpingnorman

The Philippines is well-known for having the best services when it comes to salons and spas, and of course barbershops! As you can see here in the picture, I am lounging so comfortably as the barber stimulates areas of my face that I did not even know existed, hehehe...They also do really good haircutting with the scissors, fine-tuning the cut to micrometer accuracy. You also will get your shoulders massaged and your extremities stretched out and relaxed. You'll feel like a NEW MAN once you come out of the barbershop and it won't even cost you more than US$10!
