There is a big variety of tropical trees and flowers at Bishan Park which provide shade for relaxation. Some of the flowers are very colourful, such as the ixora, bougainvilla, periwinkle etc. Trees include the flame of the forest tree, angsana tree etc. More photographs are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

There is a very beautiful lotus pond at Bishan Park which you must visit when you are there. This pond is filled with colourful lotus and the flowers are very nice. More photographs are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

Besides the paths for cycling, jogging, roller bladding etc, Bishan Park also contains playgrounds for children to enjoy themselves and fitness corners for the health enthusatic people.

Besides the paths, ponds and trees, there are big open fields at Bishan Park where you can have a picnic or play games such as soccer.

There is a big pond located in the centre of Bishan Park which is very nice and you can see many local people relaxing along it while some try their luck on fishing.
