Favorite thing: If you are interested to purchase tropical freshwater fishes to keep in your aquarium, you can visit Yi De Aquarium and Pets located at the junction of Geylang Road and Lorong 33 Geylang, just next to the famous claypot rice stall. This shop sells a significant variety of freshwater fishes and aquarium accessories, and the prices are reasonable.

Favorite thing: When you are in these areas of Singapore, do walk around and experience the life of the local people here. For example, the lady in this photograph is selling newspapers and magazines along the street of Geylang. Usually, cars will stop by or people on the street will buy the newspapers, especially during mornings and evenings when the local Chinese newspaper arrives.
