Put on your walking shoes or hiking boots and catch a breathtaking view up at Kent Ridge and Labrador Parks.
As part of the Army's adoption of the park as The Army Green Park, there is a M114 Artillery Gun display at the foot of the hill.(Vigilante Drive off South Buona Vista Road)
A AMX-13 Light Tank from the Army was displayed at the hill top. The location is at Kent Ridge Park Car Park B just somewhere near to the Look-Out-Point and Fitness Station.
There is a jetty at Labrador Park where a lot of locals gather for fishing. You can do fishing, cycling, do roller blading or simply stroll around the relaxing setting and enjoy the sea breeze.
At the hill behind Labrador Park, you can walk around and see remains of the British world war 2 coastal defence network of bunkers, cannons etc. You will also get a nice view up here.
From Labrador Park, you can have a good view of the Western end of Sentosa island which the famous British Fort Siloso (for World War 2) is located.
This coastal area is famous in Singapore for its rich marine wildlife during low tide and is under conservation. Popular among the locals, especially during the weekends.
From Kent Ridge Park, you can have a good view of the British colonial houses and idyllic surroundings of the Normanton Park area.
Kent Ridge Park is a good getaway from the busy city life, and many locals like to visit here in the mornings and evenings, especially during the weekends.
Beacuse Kent Ridge Park is located on a hill, you will get a beautiful view of the south-west coastal region of Singapore from up here. Kent Ridge Park is entered via the South Buona Vista Road.
