A usual sight at Music Underground on weekends ;) by Louis_sg If eurodance/techno is your cup of tea, this could be your best bet in Singapore. Rest of the clubs that dish out the same fare are dismally small (they can be found along Md Sultan Road) and packed with teenagers to the brim. Located along the belt of the Orchard Road district, it is easily accessible with a train station (Somerset) next to it with various Night bus services (avail on weekends and eve of PH only) that bring you throughout the island at its doorstep. For the list of covers and closing times, refer to the website below. Generally it closes latest on Saturdays (4am) with crowd capacity to the max on that day. Bar top dancing is a common sight and crowd has a good mix of young adults (20+) to the working exec types. A few handfuls of teenagers help to balance out the mix too. Do give it a try! As of writing, this new premises is only 2 months old (it was shifted from International Building) and the fun factor has increased exponentially!

Taken with my phone in-built camera (blur) by bkoon My favourite place to party and chill out during weekends. Nice music but small dance floor and usually crowded. The only plus side is the great music.

Is this a Tex mex restaurant ? by sourbugger It's one of those "must do" things, although I'm not sure if it really ought to go in the "Tourist trap" section. The Long bar still serves the Famous Singapore sling, served by a barman who makes Tom Cruise in the film "Cocktail" look like an amateur. It is however a little dissapointing that a liquidizer is also used these days. It nowadays cost $16 for sling or $25 with the glass. You can also buy just the glass for just over $10, which is cheaper than in the Raffles shop. The bar still has a certain ambiance however, with the floor covered in monkey nut shells and seats covered in the New rich from all four corners of the world accompanied by various bleached blonde creations. The worst feature was the rows of mechanically operated fans overhead which looked like thay had been saved from a themed Tex-Mex restaurant in Arizona.
Surprisngly liberal - noted a few long shorts and trainers, but being British one has to dress up and keep standards up old boy, what ? Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: Raffles hotel

Outside of the Liquid bar by sourbugger The Website the "inn-crowd", connected to a hostel of the same name provides a good overall view of the nightlife in Singapore. In addition it has a wealth of information and a selection of self-guided tours. Leave a Comment

The area along and around Mohd Sultan is lined with bars and clubs which are ever changing it seems. The area is known for fights breaking out in the weekend. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

by Shelly6622 .Although Singapore isn't exactly a city that never sleeps, there's definitely enough to keep pub-crawlers and other nocturnal creatures well occupied. Night spots in Singapore tend to exist in clusters, making pub-hopping even easier. Some of the areas that come to life after dark are Tanjong Pagar, Mohammed Sultan Road, Boat Quay and Pasir Panjang village. Each caters to a different type of crowd so it's well worth doing some exploring. Drink prices are usually pretty standard (about $5-$6 for a beer, and about $8-$10 for a whisky or tequilla shot) but look out for one-for-one drink offers and of course, happy hour. Most discos come with a cover charge which usually includes one or two drinks, but most pubs or wine bars don't come with one.The most popular night spot areas in Singapore are: Mohammed Sultan Road The Three Quays: Boat Quay, Clarke Quay & Robertson Quay CHIJMES and nearby Chinatown Orchard Road Leave a Comment Theme: Dancing
