Skyline Luge.: My night activities at Sentosa.

by sdq

At night usually there are much lesser activities in many countries but in Sentosa Singapore I enjoyed the Skyline Luge. It is a very exciting ride down the hill, you first have to dress up with the safety gadgets I mean helmet knee and elbow cover than the lift chair is going to take you up the hill from where you'll will be given a luge which you have to ride down the hill. The road is zig zag filled with obstacles from which you have to save yourself and in the end after taking off your gadgets you are offered your picture which is optional if you want to buy. Jeans and T-Shirt with Joggers.

Coming Down the Hill on the Luge.

Or You can come here through South Bridge Road.

Resort World Casino: Wonderful gaming experience

by hopang

The Resort World Casino is located at the popular tourist resort island of Sentosa. The casino is very popular among Malaysian visitors as it is operated by Genting group from Malaysia. It is certainly one of the largest casinos in Asia occupying more than 15,000 square meters. The casino has lots of interesting table games and slot machines etc. The interior of the casino is certainly wonderfully decorated. In our opinion it is one of the most beautiful casinos in Asia.Resort World Casino is opened to the public 24 hours a day. No admission fee is charged to the foreigners who must produce valid passport upon entering the casino. Nevertheless Singaporeans have to pay an entrance fee of S$100,00 as the Singapore government does not encourage locals to gamble. Proceeds from entrance fees are used for charity purposes. Foreign visitors especially from Malaysia should take the opportunity...

Eski Bar

by Flipboy

Its a cold bar. Boasting sub-zero weather inside, it is super cooled to create winter in sunny Singapore. They say that if you bring your own jacket you get 10% off your bill, but the waitress had to be reminded because she said that not many people bring their own shtuff. The space is quite small, but I guess that is necessary to keep the temp down.

The Sanctuary: Live and loud: Cat's Cradle

by idy

Cat's Cradle play at Indochine's The Santuary daily sometime from 9pm onwards up 'til midnight. They do some great covers of popular soft rock and adult alternative songs, and the lead singer sometimes sound uncannily like Jon Bon Jovi. The night-time crowd here varies, being made up of foriegners/tourists and locals (mostly fans of the band). Sometimes they are loud, cheering and whistling at the band, and sometimes totally unresponsive, no one even claps. This alfresco area is a nice place to relax after a hard day of bargain hunting. Unfortunately, the drinks are rather pricey, with coffee or tea going at about $5, a bottle of Evian at $10 and mocktails or cocktails at about $15 upwards. The Sanctuary is located next to PhoChine and is part of the Indochine group of 5 outlets in the same location.

Music Underground: Largest Eurodance club

by Louis_sg

If eurodance/techno is your cup of tea, this could be your best bet in Singapore. Rest of the clubs that dish out the same fare are dismally small (they can be found along Md Sultan Road) and packed with teenagers to the brim. Located along the belt of the Orchard Road district, it is easily accessible with a train station (Somerset) next to it with various Night bus services (avail on weekends and eve of PH only) that bring you throughout the island at its doorstep. For the list of covers and closing times, refer to the website below. Generally it closes latest on Saturdays (4am) with crowd capacity to the max on that day. Bar top dancing is a common sight and crowd has a good mix of young adults (20+) to the working exec types. A few handfuls of teenagers help to balance out the mix too.Do give it a try! As of writing, this new premises is only 2 months old (it was shifted from...

A usual sight at Music Underground on weekends ;)
