Alleybar: New meet Old

by zafilm

New world music meet old world elegance. They've to difference concepts. The old Alleybar offer the best to chill and the atmosphere is really cozy. In the other hand, New Alleybar is really into vibe & jive. But this 2 places is really nice to hang or chill out.... Casual & smart

KM8: Party by the beach

by zafilm

Happening beach bar in Sentosa. Bikini babes & hunks hotspots & popular amongst the groovy vibe scene, and the bar front swimming pools is amust, but for girls & couples only. The next big thing in this island are always crowded on weekend, depends on the weather. DJ spinning sexy, funky, house, tribal & lush music. And sometimes R&B too. The staff there do fireworks at night in between 9.00 to 10.00pm & its really spectacular...!! Beach wear & bikini or casual...no problem.

Raffles Bar

by ant1606

If you look for an historical and elegant place, try the Raffles Bar by the famous luxurious hotel.Ambience reminds of the old days, with swaying fans on the ceiling. This is the place that gave birth to the Singapore Sling cocktail and nevertheless about half of drinks served here are Slings.Upstairs is the live stage and if you want to have a conversation while drinking, you'd better choose a table at ground level for the music is really loud.A carpet of peanut shells covers the floor, as it's customary to throw the shells right there.

Boat & Clarke Quay: The Quays

by Scarlie

With a risk of sounding tacky, the nightlife in Singapore is not complete without an after-dark trip to the quays. Whether you'll have dinner there or just a drink the views are great. It's a good start of the evening with the Black Penny and Harry's @ Boat quay, or any of the other eating establishments on both sides of the river.

Ballymoon's: Closet Piano Bar

by Scarlie

Even tho it's billed as a contemporary Irish bar, this place seem to have a closet Piano Bar personality. IIt's somewhat schizophrenic when it comes to style. I think they'd do better without the muted sports screens & the guinness t-shirts, and accentuate more on the trendy 'metrosexual' undertone. The quality of the live performance is very good, altho they probably shouls re-consider the loud-speaker positions. Depends on which of the place's personalities you are attrected to, but there is no strict dress code

The Muddy Murphy's: Can you miss the Irish? really!?

by Scarlie

There is a definite surety in what you find in an Irish pub -- the green & brown tones, the dark smoky wood, the mirrors reflecting the ochre lights; the footy and the slow pint of Guinness... In many respects, Muddy's just your average Irish pub... ... with one small -- but HOT -- difference. And I'm not talking about the weather! The difference -- pitifully enough will remain annymous -- is a tiny, sparkly girl with a big big voice. Even if the beer has reduced you to a simple mind, you won't "forget about her".PS I read that the pub was built in Dublin and then shipped in bits and reassembled in Singapore. wow! Since when there is a dress code for an Irish pub?

Fabrice's World Music Bar: From Girl Power to Power Rock

by Scarlie

Spread over two floors, this bar certainly offers enough for everyone. Downstairs you have a decent rock band alterinating w/ a DJ with anything from Shakira to Faithless; while upstairs we had the Singapore version of a girlie band (they did look much better than they sang, but hey, who cares!) Very good place to dance! pretty much anything goes.
