Singapore is an equatorial country with relatively uniform temperate, abundant rainfall and high humidity throughout the year. As the tempatures reamin between 27 - 32 degree celsius all year round, it is advisable to wear loose and light summer clothing for outdoor activities such as shopping and sightseeing.Stay COOL and COMFORTABLE too.... Don't worry on what medicine you may have left out... Singapore's medical facilties are among the finest in the world, with well- qualified doctors and dentists. Most of the pharmacies are open from 9am to 10pm and they are easily available... Most hotels also have their own doctor on 24-hour call... Sure, do remember to bring along your camera so that you can capture all those memorable moments and wonderful sights....but if you really forget to bring one, don't panick because instant cameras are easily available and they cost about S$15...

I would recommend to leave everything at home. Hej, Singapore is cheap. You can buy for a few dollars a lot of nice clothes that suit the climate over there. It's so humid that you actually don't need much. The weather is pretty much the same whole year round. I would recommend a little long-sleeve pullover for the more air-conditioned places, in order not to get a cold, otherwise.......shorts, skirts, sandals, t-shirt, that's all you need. DON'T FORGET THE UMBRELLA in case you end up in the monsoom rain. HA HA Toilets are allright. Good standard. You can find everything in Singapore. Really cheap equipment. It's worth buying it here then in Europe.I bought myself a professional lense. Go around the shops at SIM LIM (BUGI district) and ask for an offer. You can handle if you are buying something expensive. BE AWARE that you can the original papers and the international receipt....

Remember to bring a bagpack to contain your shopping! Wear something casual and cooling ( as Singapore is a humid country). You can either wear a pair of sandles or a pair of track shoes. It will be better if you can bring along an umbrella (just in case it rains). Don't have to worry. You can get most of your toiletries in any of the convenience stores. remember to bring more films..

Remember to bring along an extra luggage to bring back some gifts and souvenirs for your friends!! Do some shopping at Orchard Road. Since the climate is warm and humid in Singapore, loose and light summer clothing such as T-shirt, Jeans, Shorts and Bermudas is the most appropriate dress code here. However, slippers and singlets are not allowed in some of the restaurants and nightspots. Bringing along an umbrella is advisable just in case it rains. There are many places of interest in Singapore such as Sentosa, Singapore Zoological Garden and so on. Thus, remember to bring your camera along and don't forget the extra batteries!!! You can buy the films in Singapore. Don't forget the fun in the sun! Bring your swimwear/bikinis & tanning lotion and visit Sunset Bay in Sentosa. A great place for beach volleyball enthusiasts.

In hot and humid Singapore, with temperatures averaging between 24 to 30 degrees celsius, most people on holiday can be identified in their T-shirts and bermudas.Smart, casual and light are the key words. jacket and dress may be required at a more formal restaurants and nightspots. To all light travellers and shoppers: take heart, if you should ever run out of the Singapore dollar, local currency exchange rates are pretty competitive!

Singapore's tropical weather makes light summer clothing (preferably of natural fabrics) most practical, especially for outdoor activities like sightseeing. Most restaurants and nightspots are not restrictive on the dress code - polo shirts, t-shirts, jeans, slacks, blouses and skirts, sun dresses and sneakers are acceptable at most places. Although some establishments require formal wear for the evening, suits and evening dresses will never be out of place in Singapore's trendy night-spots.

What to wear: As the weather in Singapore is relatively warm, don't torture yourselves by wearing thick clothings. A piece of advice is to wear light, summer clothing made from natural fabrics like cotton. Casual dress is acceptable for most situations and occasions but some establishments may require a more formal dress code. It is always advisable to check beforehand on dress regulations, if any. As for shoes, wear something that you feel comfortable in 'cos there might be a lot of running around to do!!!

Weather: Everyone should be aware that there's no seasonal changes in Singapore rite?? Just imagine that we have to live in such a warm and humid climate, 365 & 1/4 days a year, with only slight variations between the average maximum of 31 degrees Celcius and minimum of 23 degrees Celcius. Of course it rains throughout the year, with more consistent rain coming during the monsoon season from November to January.

Singapore is a shoppers paradise, so bring along extra luggage (or buy some over there). The climate is generally hot and humid. Wear light clothes. It’s best to wear long cotton trousers or shorts and cotton shirts or T-shirts. Long sleeved shirts are better because they keep the mosquitoes out especially in the evening. A hat or a cap will provide a shelter from the sun. Wear strong sensible shoes or slippers. A more formal dress is sometimes required in clubs and restaurants.

What type of clothes do you need to pack??The weather here in Singapore is generally HOT and HUMID. Yukks! Be prepared to perspire alot here under the sweltering heat. Folks like me (who thrive better in colder climate) reeeeally suffer alot here. :-( So, in answer to your question, this is what I'd recommend that you along with you to this tropical island - Shorts, Mini-skirts, Sun-dresses, Swim wear and anything that will aid in cooling your body! 'Tis also a good idea to bring along 1 or 2 evening dress(es). You just never know who'd invite you out for a nice expensive dinner when you're in Singapore, right?Guys, you can wear anything here! No worries... On a hot and humid day, wearing a pair of jeans isn't a good idea at all, believe me (unless of course you plan to stay indoors/ aircon room). Singaporeans do dress up at night when they go out. Of course, there are others who much...
