A good view of the park is at the road leading up next to the Outram MRT subway station. There were once many buildings in the plot of land infront of the hill but they have been demolished several years ago.

Littering

Please do not litter in the park or you will be fined, like all other public places in Singapore. There are many dustbins conveniently located so please use them.
Slopes and steps

Because it is located on a hill, beware of the slope and numerous steps of the park. However, the steps are well marked and you can use the slope as a form of exercise.
Tiong Bahru Housing Estate

This is one of the oldest housing estate in Singapore and is located near to Pearl's Hill. You can admire the old housing flats as well as visit the famous Tiong Bahru market and hawker centre with its very good hawker food and shopping.

The Outram Road Buildings

These colourful buildings are now demolished but they used to be a very popular place for shopping and meals in the Chinatown area. They are also used for residential stay, but now this is all but history.
Gardeners & cleaners .....

The gardeners and cleaners of the National Parks Board of Singapor work hard everyday to keep the park clean and take care of the plants.
View from the top

The view on top of Pearl's Hill is very nice. From here, you can see the city area as well as the nearby Singapore General Hospital and the Health Sciences Authority building.
Tortoises in the pond

I particularly enjoyed wtaching the tortoises in the pond. When you approach close, they would go under the water but will resurface a while later.
