Favorite thing: Devil's island was certainly full of heavenly creatures when viewed at low spring tide. Pulau Hantu (or Devil’s Island) was transformed by a massive land reclamation programme (that buried a major part of reef) into a recreational island. It was believed that ancient Malay warriors once dueled to the death on the island. Pulau Hantu is located 8 km south of Singapore mainland (1 degree 13.6'N, 103 degree 45'E) Despite its name, the island is a favourite haunt with divers and anglers.
