The best way to get around Ubin island is cycling. Rent a bike in the entrance of the island. The rental is S$3-5 for the whole day. S$3 is for long used bicycle and S$5 is for brand new bicycle. It is advised to take a brand new bicycle to avoid any broken down ( although there is possibility for brand new bike to break down as well but the probability will be lower) If you arrived the island in the afternoon for example 2 or 3 o'clock, you may get cheaper prices.
The business is very competitive, so better ask before rent. Remember to keep the receipt and check the bicycle condition before you go. If anything wrong along the way i.e. bicycle break down, give the shop a call and they will come to assist u.

Pulau Ubin is a popular place for cross country cycling. You can rent a bike at the jetty cum main village area for about S$10 per hour and explore the island via the bicycle.
