There will be '$2?' signs around to deceive you into thinking that renting a bike only cost $2 the whole day. The first shop I went to charged $8 for new bikes and $6 for older bikes. Bikes condition was ok only. Finally, we chose to rent bikes from the last shop who offered us $5 for older bikes (looked relatively new and dependable).
Unique Suggestions: Walk around, compare the prices and check the conditions of the bikes.
