You can walk down the main road of Serangoon...watch how the neon lights illuminate Little India (more so from the glitter of the gold shops), browse through Mustafa Centre, have a cup of Teh Tarik or some Indian sweets from the confectionary as you people-watch.
If you are visiting during Deepavali, expect to elbow your way through the crowd.
