The area has grown up well. The clientele now consists of yuppies, creatives and expats. More restaurants and upmarket bars in the area. New places like "daybed" have changed the face of this street. Daybed is a must visit joint. It has a great vibe throughout the week and not just the weekends. What got me hooked were the martinis though. They have got their drinks down. Great martinis, very good mojitos and caipirinihas, cool chill & house music with very good service. There is a pizza place called PAPI is nice too. Very good pizzas.

Beware the Sultan Road street workers! They normally send very pretty Singapore girls to coax you inside (for free drink, free cover, etc), and then many times charge customers up to 200 USD for a couple drinks. Only go into places that are popular with locals. If in doubt, ask around before going inside. Many vacations have been ruined by these tourist traps.
Have fun & enjoy yourself! :-)

Go clubbing, bar top dancing at the popular nightspots along Mohd Sultan Road.
Walk along the whole strech of pubs. And when you find one start dancing and drinking.
Check out Mdm Wong, Tai Jie and Dbl-O.
The best time to visit is on Fri and Sat night.

This street is set the nightlife people. There are about 10 clubs, more or less, along the 2 sides of the street. Dont bother to go there on weekdays cos most clubs are rather empty. The only club with people queuing on the weekday night we went there was Siam Supper Club.
We checked out Lempicka cos we didnt have to pay for the cover charge. Yea we were cheap. Anyway, the inside looked nice. Music was good. Cocktails tasted just fine.

Mohammed Sultan Road is known to be the place for "nightlife" in Singapore. Just ask to be dropped off on this street, and you won't miss the bars right beside each other and at the opposite side, at Robinsons Walk.

There a quite a lot of pubs and clubs along this street... And a few are very famous and classy... One which I quite like is NewsRoom Bar... a very big place good for a group to hang out, party and drink....
And in Singapore, all clubs close at 3am... but you dun have to worry abt transport... Tons of cabs will be at your service along the main road....
Party on ppl....
Dress Code: Definately no sandals/slippers and shorts...
