Pasir Ris Park, Singapore
Near Sungei Tampines, a 5ha mangrove swamp has been preserved. This is one of the few last remaining mangrove swamps in Singapore. You can view the mangroves by walking along a boardwalk. If its really quiet, you get to see crabs, mud lobsters and even squirrels. So be really quiet, they are sensitive to faint sounds.
It's a bit far but worth visiting...
Nice view of the water, bars opened until very late, great seafood stall.
There's also a nice beach and cycling path.
I went there late but it's very safe at any time
This is the dusk scene at Pasir Ris Park around 6+pm. The tide will usually be low at this time and tidal flats will be exposed. Be careful of sinking into the well-hidden mud while walking out.
There are many fish farms located at Pasir Ris.
I went for a tour for the very first time and was very excited to see a 2m long and fat fish.
