Brewerkz is a quite famous with amongst the tourists, expats and locals.
Our local host chooses that place to held our international meet up in Singapore. they arranged a table for 20 persons and everything went so smooth, the food and drinks were great and the ambiance was perfect. we all enjoyed our time and turned out to be a successful meet up and a lovely evening.
The Brewerkz is a place I found myself in a few times during my trip. They have affordable beer during the day although the prices after 6pm shoot through the roof.
Located down on Clarke Quay it was a good place to wait out the rain. Which sometimes ended and other times didn’t. But the people watching was good and the beer decent. And everyone knew where to meet up with me.
Located opposite Clarke Quay at Riverside Point, Brewerkz is a restaurant and microbrewery serving a range of beers and American-style food. There is an underground/building car park for those who are driving.
I went to Brewerkz for dinner on a weekend. The food was allright but not outstanding.
Favorite Dish:
If you are a beer lover, then Brewerkz is your place. But bear in mind: The beerprice is changing depending on the time and day. It is the cheapest on a sunday afternoon and the most expensive on a saturday night (triple the price)!
The have a beer sampler, which gets you all their beers in a shot glass to try.
This place is really cool! Situated on the Singapore riverside, Clarke Quay, Brewerkz boasts a large selection of home brewed beers. With a lot of different beers on offer, ranging from 4% tot a comfortable 14% alcohol percentage, there's surely a beer to be found to your liking!
As any selfrespecting pub offers food, you can also choose from a variety of pub food.
As with all alcoholic beverages in Singapore, the prices are quite steep, except on Monday, when there's happy hour. When having lunch you also get discounts on the beers.
Favorite Dish:
Try the 'beer platter', where you get a taster of about 12 different beers. You could end up walking backwards afterwards, so take caution! You might want to order some snacks to go with the beer.
Great placeto hangout for a "Hair-of-the-Dog" brunch. Situated next to the river inside RIverside Quay, you can wine (actually is only beer) and dine your way back to sobriety... not. Either way, you have to drop in a have a go at the extensive selection of home brew that they have. I certain had a crack.
Not exactly the place to go for local food but great if you fancy a beer and a sandwich or burger.
The beers that are brewed on the premises are very drinkable and the food is fine too.
What's even better is that between 12 noon and 4pm beer is only S$ 2.50 a pint if you are eating lunch. Compare this with Harry's Bar where 2 beers cost S$ 27 dollars and you will see that it is something of a bargain in Singapore.
A nice location too on Clarke Quay overlooking the river.
Favorite Dish:
I didn't try them all but the BBQ chicken sandwich was very good and the burgers looked thick and juicy.
I can personally recommend the Singapore Pale Ale but I doubt that they sell a bad beer here.
