As far as food goes, this gets medium reviews. The reason why you should eat here are either 1) Romantic dining experience, 2) Amazing views of the city at night, or both. Equinox is located 70 floors above the city with fantastic views of Clark Quay, the Singapore River, and the Padang playing fields. This is the best view of Singapore, day or night, still open to the public. Please find my tip on how to see this fantastic view during the day here:

Equinox: Make a reservation! Great lobster ravioli!

    by bobkw2000 Written Oct 9, 2004

If you are staying on the higher floors of The Stamford, you may want to pass, otherwise the views are really nice, the food very good, and the service immaculate. Personally, I left a little hungry as the serving portins are quite small, but you are paying more for the view than the meal. As I stayed on the 57th and 59th floors of The Stamford, the view wasn't really worth the pricce of admission.

Favorite Dish: All I've had there was the Lobster Ravioli. It was VERY good, although a small portion for the US$50+ price tag in my opinion.

  • Equinox@Swissotel Stamford: Great View of Singapore

by kissgurami Written May 25, 2004

Enjoy high tea (local cuisine) or dinner at Equinox on the 69th storey of Swissotel The Stamford. The view is stunning especially at night.

Favorite Dish: the food pretty good but a little on the costly side. Ranging from SGD35-SGD60 per person for buffet.
