Would you like to have a dine by the seaside?
Make your way down to Pasir Ris Fisherman's Village.
Ask for the table nearest to the beach.
You can enjoy the beach view as it get dark.

There is a fishing pond just next to the village.
If you are in luck you could have the catch of the day cooked for you.

Favorite Dish: The seafood at the first stall is quite nice. We ordered cereal prawns, fried prawn paste chicken, kailan with beef and fried egg with crabmeat.

Fishermen's Village, Pasir Ris

This is one great place to try to the national favourite of Singapore - Chilli Crabs! The ambience is absolutely fantastic, as the place is right on the beach, and you can dine with the waves right next to you, even better if you go there just before sun set., and take a short walk on the beach after your meal.

Favorite Dish: Though not for ones on a shoe string budget, It's much better than eating at a touristy place like Clarke Quay or Newton Circus.

Price is not too bad either, around S$35/kg (for a fixed price of S$28 for a medium sized 'standard' crab (more expensive species, such as snow crabs also available). Also not to miss are the Black Pepper Crabs and Butter Crabs (in Garlic). You can choose the live crabs if going by weight and they will cook it for you. Four of us had a nice (very full!) meal of Chilli Crabs, Black Pepper Crabs, Butter Crabs, Rice, Fried Buns, Deer Meat curry, fresh coconuts for drinks and a couple of beers at around SG $150 (that's only $35/person).
