    Thai Express

by gueto Written Jun 28, 2007

This fast growing chain called Thai Express is worth visiting. For those Western people who want to try out some Asian dishes but are still worried about spicy or extremely different tastes, try here. It is a nice blend of Thai food with exotic and yet very acceptable flavours.

There are Thai noodles, soups, laksas, wraps and great ice blended fruity drinks. You can go for something mild to something extremely spicy so the choice is there. Keep in mind that usually Thai food is spicy so ask the waiter before hand whether the dish you chose can come less spicy or with no spice at all.

Favorite Dish: By far my favourite dish is Seafood Satay Laksa, a sort of spicy thick soup with satay sauce noodles and pieces of seafood. Just delicious!

And to accompany the dish I adoooore both the Chang Mai Mango blend (a blend of ice and natural mango) or Avocado Blend (never thought avocado and sugar could be such a great duo)

    Thaiexptress: Thaiexpress

by Carino Written Dec 30, 2006

Thaiexpress is one of many restaurant located at the Citylink Mall linking City Hall MRT with the Suntec Convention Center. The restaurant looks very inviting and the food is in a good price range.

Favorite Dish: I had Green Chicken Curry which was rather spicy and gave me the real Thai Food Kick.
The dish comes at SGD 7.90. I also had a Thai Ice Tea at SGD 4.90 which was definitely not my taste.

Thai Express: Delicious fast thai food

    by Lyda1973 Written Oct 18, 2006

Glutton’s Bay was completely full, so, we had to make another option and decided for Thai Express which is almost next to Glutton. We have been many times in Thai Express and certainly is always a very good option for a fast and very tasty food. The staff are very kind and patient.
The food is not so spicy, the restaurant are spacious, with air cond and also have some tables outside which is nice at night to see people walking around and listen the music when a concert is presented outside the esplanade.

Can't miss this one. It's on the Esplanade with a view across the harbour of the Merloin....although we didn't get that, as it was all boxed up, being cleaned at the time :o(

Anyway, we met here for a vt meeting and the food was the best (thanx Jen...Imstress). I would totally recommend the place!! Food is fab!, great range and excellant prices!!

...and I don't understand why it is not on the vt restaurant list!!
