    Orchard Road: Paragon

by machomikemd Updated May 20, 2011

another luxury mall competing with Takashimaya and Ion and Tang's and the Irony here is that they are literally within a stone's throw of each other here in Orchard Road and again The Paragon competes with Takashimaya and Ion and Tangs and Wisma Atria for the Luxe Shoppers of Orchard Road (whether locals or tourists) while the budget shopper shops at Lucky Plaza and Centerpoint and other Smaller Malls in orchard road. The International Brands located in Paragon include these high fashion labels like Tod's, Prada, Miu Miu, Jimmy Choo (of sex and the city fame), Anteprima, Dunhill, Etro, Ermenegildo Zegna, Burberry, Yafriro, Cortina Watch, Mondial, Mont Blanc and Larry Jewelry.

What to buy: a lot especially if you want the Jimmy Choo Shoes and the burberry bags and Ermenegildo Zegna Clothes as to make your wallet dry and your credit card maxxed out.

What to pay: maxx out your platinum credit card

Paragon, Orchard Road: High End Shopping

This is popular place to shop for brnaded designer clothes.

All the famous brands are found here.

If you are buying, just great to window shop at your favorite Italian or Japanese designs.

At the basement, there is a grocery market and restaurants. Things are more pricey.

    Paragon: Convenience in Shopping

by Strikinsmile Updated Aug 10, 2006

I love shopping. Convenience is a plus factor for me. That’s why when I want to buy some girly stuff, I go to Paragon, specifically to Metro to replenish my beauty supplies. I also go to Paragon, particularly to Toys R Us if I want to buy my niece some toys. I go to the stores in Paragon for gift items. Paragon has it all. It even has drugstores, money changer, grocery and 7-11 at the basement. Not to mention restaurants and gym. What more could you ask for?

Another good thing about Paragon is that the layout is not confusing. It’s pretty big but it’s easy to find your way around.

What to buy: It’s got lots of boutiques and shops: Calvin Klein, United Colors of Benetton, Sisley, Toys R Us, Metro, Watson’s. It really depends on what you need. Basically, Paragon covers almost everything you’ll ever need. Designers galore too!

What to pay: The budget will depend on what you want to purchase and the brand name.

    Paragon: Another Concentration of Luxury

by nomadig Written Feb 17, 2005

Paragon is one of the top-end malls on Orchard Road, housing brands such as Prada, Versace and others. Not all stores are designated for the rich and the famous, as there are Diesel, Benetton and other brands, too, available in the mall.

The lower level of the mall has, as usual, a food court that has both fast food joints and real restaurants. This floor is an oasis midst a busy shopping day to replenish your energy and rest your feet.

The mall hosts also Singapore Airlines city office, that has the perk of pre-check-in for all flights leaving during the next three days. Go early and reserve a good seat. Just drop off your backages at the airport.
