I recently bought a camera from this shop. The salesman was really nice and funny when doing the sales. He showed me wat liked, and i bought a camera. But unfortunately when i got home and opened the pack it was totally a different model what i chose. I went back the other day, and complained. They said will give u model but have to trade in this camera at 35% and get another one i wanted at a very high price. To top it all they were extremely rude, used abusive language, and even threaten to shove me off the shop. I had to approach the security and they informed the police, which ofcourse came, investigated , but didnt do anything other than to ask me to go to tourist board and register a case.
Dont buy ANYTHING from this shop

If shopping for a camera, go to The Mustafa Centre in Little India and note their prices - they won't haggle, but prices are pretty cheap. Use the Mustafa price for the camera you want to buy as your base to haggle down at Slim Lim Square (found Funan IT Plaza dearer). Start on Ground Floor and work your way upwards, we got the best price at Song Brothers with extra battery and SD cards.
Camera's. Cosmetics are only a few dollars dearer than the duty free price at Singapore Airport. Leave a Comment

Sim Lim Square is a shopping complex dedicated to electronic gadgets and computer products. The 3rd, 4th and 5th story of Sim Lim Complex are dedicated exclusively to shops selling DIY computers, computer peripherals and accessories. If you are a techie and a computer buff, you will find that Sim Lim Square is a haven for buying computer accessories and peripherals - DVD writers, hard disks, thumb drives, RAM chips, webcams etc. As you go up the escalators, there will be people trying to shove catalogues and price lists into your hands. Just grab them and compare the prices offered by various shops before you commit to a purchase.
Computer parts and peripherals
The price is reasonable and displayed prominently on the price list in front of the shop. Leave a Comment

Singapore is the best place I've ever been for buying electronics. The most convenient venue for purchasing audio-visual gadgets is Sim Lim Square. All the newest and fanciest stuff outside Japan (and thus interconnecting with the rest of your stuff) are available here, with several different prices. Prepare for hard haggling and deals with several acts: arguing, pondering alternatives, arguing, walking out, coming back, setting price, more arguing and finally finding the suitable price. Check the base price first from Best Denki or some other store that shows the prices and offers no opportunity for settling the price. Remember that some stores will put an extra charge for buying with a credit card. Try to get rid of it with hard negotiations and acts of desperation. Make sure that you get all required guarantee slips and GST forms to claim the taxes. Sim Lim Square is not reachable by the MRT, so its easiest to take a taxi. Leave a Comment

There are many shops in Sim Lim Square. The price for a product is very compatitive. You must walk round level 3 to level 6 for computer harware or accessories and level 1 to 2 for AVA products. The prices should not be very far apart, if it is, beware for fake product.
Computer accessories and hardware.
From $100 Theme: Computers and ElectronicsDirections: Corner of Bencoolen Street and Rochor Canal Road. Take the mrt to bugis or little india station. Walk a distance from the mrt station. Bugis would be better for me as a local here.Website: http://web.singnet.com.sg/~maxxum/simlim.html

There is a good variety of computer related stuff and you can bargain with the shop assistants. But do look around as you may be able to find a cheaper one at another shop on another level.
Computers, softwares and games.
