If you're looking for a big, glitzy shopping mall in the Singapore tradition, then Suntec City is the place. It has more than 300 specialty shops and restaurants and is spread out between four towers over four levels.
What to pay: There are a few bargains to be found, especially in some of the temporary stalls but mostly prices are mid range.

I didn't realize they had this store, Carrefour, the first two times we came to Singapore. It has branches at the Suntec City mall, and soon, at Plaza Singapura. Having lived in the States, this store reminds me a lot of Super Walmart, Kmart, or Target. It boasts of having the "Lowest Prices"... apparently, I found it to be so. Aside from having a department store with pretty much everything from houseware and clothes to computers and DVD's, it also has a supermarket. Carrefour IS a one-stop shop.
What to pay: least expensive
