    Singapore sightseeing, the Duck Tour

by nyperose Written Dec 14, 2013

If you want to experiment a different sightseeing tour, then this tour is special: the "bus-boat" travels both on land and sea. It plunges directly into the Singapore river with a big splash.

It lasts an hour and is funny, especially for children, but if you want a real sightseeing tour which shows you the sights, then this tour is not for you, and you should do the classic Hop on Hop off tour instead.

    Quack, Quack! Wacky Duck Tours

by balhannah Updated Feb 28, 2011

We decided to try out the "Wacky Duck tour."
The trip is on water and land in an amphibious vietnamese warcraft. The ride took us on land 1st, through the heritage part of Singapore and other parts before heading into the water. From here we were taken to the smaller Merlion, where I managed to get some nice photo's. We then continued along past the Esplanade and Clifford Pier.

The guide we had was informative and we enjoyed the 1 hour tour.

Tours begin from 9.30am until 5.30 pm and run hourly.
    2011 price is $29.90 adult ......$20.90 child

There is a night tour that begins at 6.30pm, this is the same as the day tour
We did this tour on our "Singapore Sightseeing Pass" ticket.

    Singapore Duck Tours

by Carino Written Sep 1, 2007

Having lived in Singapore for a couple of months I always thought Duck Tours is kinda crappy... until we had some visitors and wanted to give them a quick tour of the city. We ended up on Duck Tours and we loved it! The splash into the water, the view of Singapore from Marina Bay and the funny guide. Give it a try. It is quite funny!

I highly recommend Ducktours for those coming to singapore for the first time.

This famous amphibians vehicle were among the 1st in Asia, claimed to be amphibian truck used by the American soldiers during Vietnam War.

Mentioned amphibians, obviously goes on water and land and is a great way to see singapore accompanied with great commentary on board.

Highly recommended : Travel with children and family holiday

Not the lady but the amphibian truck WOW...Singapore skyline Wooww.....on the river now? Where are we now...In jungle ?
