Kenko Fish Spa

I have always wanted to try this, but just couldn't face the thought of it. But on this trip, on a face your fears day, I took the plunge!

The benefits of these little 'Dr Fish' are:
* natural exfoliation of dead skin;
* the promotion of blood circulation;
* lightening of minor scars;
* easing of psoriasis and minor eczema; and
* release stress and tension.

It's a ticklish sensation which you get used to after a while. But it certainly felt great afterwards, my feet felt like they were revived and all tingly. And I did have a recent scar that was hanging around, which is now remarkably lighter! It cost about $30SGD for a half hour session with the fish.

Other than the tickling was awesome!! We got off the singapore flyer and then proceeded downstairs to the Kenko fish foot spa...it was actually really busy!!
We arrived and had they had a special going so we had a great shoulder massage (best hubby has ever had) to start off with and then ended with the fish nibbling at our feet sitting the the front window attracting all the attention of passersby was interesting ...will do this again probably not at the window front next time!!

Yes, there are alot of massage centres in Singapore, but depending on the shopping mall...
In average, its about $30 for foot massage...its cheaper if you go into the neighbourhood.
Of cos' if you go for spa salon, prices will be higher...i have a package with elements for massage @ Orchard Road, they dun do just foot massage, but whole body massage for $56 per hour...I'm sure if its a per session thing, it would cost more...but Elements massage is good. You can visit the website www.elements.com.sg

Spa Botanica at Sentosa Island

Outdoor pavilion

Spa Botanica offers a peaceful respite. Located in a lush, tropical garden with 6 outdoor treatment pavilions and baths and showers named after local flowers. The spa has many remarkable amenities including an outdoor labyrinth and a volcanic mud pool which can be enjoyed with any treatment. Other amenities include a lap pool and a galaxy steam bath with stars, which exactly replicate the skies of the northern hemisphere.

Though it was an enjoyable experience, it was way too expensive for me.

If you want a bit of pampering, this is the ultimate place to do it. I recommend the Travellers Retreat Package which includes your choice of vichy shower or hydrotherapy bath (30mins), revive aromatherapy massage (60mins), choice of foot massage or radiance facial (30mins) and a healthy, wholesome sandwich lunch with freshly prepared tropical juice for around $300.

After you enjoy your lunch, you are free to make use of the pool and mud bath on the grounds.

Of course, for the ultimate end to your day, the massage should be followed by a jug of Strawberry Daquiries at Palawan Beach.

You won't ever want to leave...
