Want to go and visit Malaysia? Kuala Lumpur? Malacca? The Lavender St. Bus Station can arrange it for you. Do not spend a lot of time trying to book on-line as the office is not on the net and most bus companies do not book on-line. The Lavender St. Bus Station is not a station! It is a large car park with busses on it and a small ticket window. Please look carefully at the first photo or you may walk past it. Just arrive in Singapore and figure out the Metro System. Go to the Lavender St. MRT station and ask anyone you see where the Malaysia Busses are. It’s around the corner and about 500 meters away. You come out of the Lavender St. MRT Station on the major road of Victoria St. Go left (NE direction) until you come to the major road of Lavender St. Now walk left and it is past the shell garage on the right hand side of the road. Hope you have wheels on your luggage! Just buy your Bus ticket from the office a day or 2 before you want to go. If you like to have everything organised before you leave home, this will be concerning. Do not worry. Loads of busses go every hour with plenty of empty seats. If you have the patience you can take a bus from here to the first large town in Malaysia, Johor Bahru. The bus terminal there goes everywhere and is cheaper. Leave a Comment

If you want to go to Melaka you can take the Singapore Express. In october of 2003 it cost me $11.00. Bus airconditioned. The bus will make 3 stops. 2 Stops at the border and one of them at a Bar where you can buy, eat and go to the toilet. At the bus station a man will come to you for ask you if you want to change money. I founded the change correct. There I get my first MYR. You will save money, but ... of course is a great diference of time, because we had a lot of traffic, so we spend a lot of time at the Bus BUT... the bus travel from Johor airport to Singapore is beaufiful... I think is a good idea to take this bus... BUT ... the left us very far from every place... so we had to take a taxi to the center ( and at the moment we didn't had S$. Bus fare RM 16. by SLLiew It is easy to drive across the Johor-Singapore Causeway from Johor Bahru, Malaysia to Woodlands, Singapore. The distance is about 1 kilometer. If you are driving a Malaysian car, make sure you have your car registration paper as well that you have not exceeded the maximum number of days allowed for a Malaysian car to drive into Singapore. If you do have yet, at the Singapore side, you will then purchase a top up prepaid card that covered the charge of how many days in Singapore, toll charged on certain roads at certain times and you can use the card for car park too. The causeway can be a short 10 minutes drive if traffic is light. Find out from the locals the jam hours to avoid especially on working days and office hours. There are also many buses and taxis and even the train that will take you across the Causeway if you rather not drive. Theme: Car/Motor Home

There are many bus services running between Singapore and KL. This is one of the better ones - Aeroline Bus Shuttle. Check out their website. Their pickup points are very well-located. In Singapore, they are at the Grand Copthorne Water Front Hotel which is at Kim Seng Road, 7 minutes by car from Orchard Road. (Aeroline used to depart from Asia Hotel at Scotts Road, but have moved to the new location recently). In KL, they are located along Jln Ampang / Corus Hotel, a short walk from KLCC and Petronas Towers. Prices are reasonable, and first class service. Leave a Comment

The train station is located at Tanjong Pagar area. The neart Tanjong Pagar MRT station is at least a 20 mins walk. It is only a few bus stop away from Sentosa Island. You may catch a bus just opposite from the train station to Sentosa Island. For train schedule and fare to Malaysia, pls check http://www.ktmb.com.my/ Leave a Comment

by stappm Buses to and from Kuala Lumpur are quite nice, some even have beverage service and movies on board! Not to metion you get to see the country side! 1-way 23 SGD to 45 SGD round trip verse $114 SGD 1-way flying. 2 different people talked me out of flying and into a bus, as flying costs 4-5 x's as much, takes just as long with all the pre-board waiting and you don't get to see the country. Coaches depart frequently thruout the day and night. The trip is about 5 hours including 2 stops at immigration (SIN & Malaysia) and one 20-30 min. stop at a rest depot (food court and restrooms). Golden Mile Complex is where to go to find a bus in Singapore - when I went I wanted one departing that day and seat availability was limited..... so no movies or beverage service for me, but it was still comfy and nice.
