i have a bad experience with their transfer service when the didn't pick me on time from Universal Studios to my Hotel. Since it's my first time in Universal i avail their services to my convenience but it turned out otherwise. i waited for almost an hour at the waiting area. i should've taken a cab but i paid for the transfer.

and secondly, they didn't picked me up on my hotel to transfer me to the airport. good thing the concierge is kind to usher me to a free shuttle bus to the airport. thats why next time. i'm to going to take any transfer services from them instead of having convenience it almost made me fail my flight back.

so now i will be careful in availing such services.

    Philippine Airlines

by machomikemd Updated May 19, 2011

they provide many times a day airline trips to and from singapore and is cheaper than Singapore Airlines so in our Revisit, we took this airline since I am a member of It's Mabuhay Miles Club. PAL, what philippine airlines is called is older than cathay pacific making it Asia's Oldest Airline (and trivia-only PAL and Other Philippine Carriers are not subsidized by the Governent, bucking the trend in the rest of asia wherein other National carriers are heavily subsidiez by their Governments like Singapore Airlines, Thai Air, Malaysian Air, Royal Brunei, Emirates, Japan Airlines and others). Its main hub is at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal II in the city of Pasay Philippines.

    Bus from Penang to Singapore

by SLLiew Updated Apr 4, 2011

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

There are overnight buses from Penang to Singapore where you depart around 9:30pm and arrive in Singapore in the early morning thus saving a night's accommodation.

However, I prefer to travel on bus by day as the buses tend to speed more at night and do not enjoy sleeping on buses.

Took the Super VIP - 18 seater, fully reclined seat with personal movie system from Konsortium. Fare is now RM75 from previous RM70. There were choices of cartoon, Chnese and English movies.

Bus started at 9:30 am leaving the Sungei Nibong Bus Station in Penang. The bus stopped for restroom and for dinner along the way. The bus used the less busier Second Link Bridge (the other crossing is the Causeway) to cross from Malaysia to Singapore. Dropped off at Golden Mile at about 8pm - a little late than usual because of highway repair.

From Golden Mile, it is 15 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station - Lavendar Station. Better to take a taxi if you have luggage or when it rains.

The VIP rate is cheaper RM50. Less space room and more people. Go Super VIP if you can afford more for comfort.

    5 hours from sensational Singapore

There are a number of airlines that fly from Perth to Singapore.

Qantas and Singapore Airlines are the most popular but Malaysia Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines also have very competitive prices.

We chose to fly Qantas because the flight times were the most family friendly. Departure from Perth was at lunchtime and arrived in Singapore in time for dinner.

And that's very important when you're travelling with hungry kids.

    Make weekend trips from Singapore!

by lukky Written May 29, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

If you are going to be based in Singapore for some time and want to make day/weekend/week trips to other countries in the area, check out People's Park Centre in Chinatown. The shopping mall is full of travel agents who advertise special deals for flights and package tours. You can pick up leaflets from them to compare prices.

People's Park Centre is located on Upper Cross Street, very near Chinatown MRT. It's best to visit on weekdays as some of the travel agents have limited business hours on weekends.

I think the service provided by Billion Stars Express are improving now as compare to last year. As an open secret, Billion Stars Express offered a fairly cheap price ticket compared to other coaches. However, their service is consider moderate and not bad.
I had forgotten which date( some day around March) I travelled from Penang to Singapore. The service provided by them was not as poor as what they said. The condition of seat is comfort and nice. The bus delayed 15 minute for departure and I think this is acceptable. The WiFi connection was smooth to browse webpage. I'm so blesses that I can finished my task in bus with their WiFi service. I look forward to doing business with you for years to come for the next trip I go Singapore.
