One of the Busiest Airport by daryll Flying to Singapore is the best way to discover how sufficient is the airport is. Indeed flying by Singapore airline, should be enjoyable as this airline is known well and rated at the highest rank among all airline. Honestly, i like the airline compare Malaysia Airline because i was treated the same good service with other caucasian passengers. And you'll find that the duty free shop is in the huge ranges. One of the best airport i have ever experienced. Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

The orchid gardens inside Changi by lichinga I think I know an important number of airports, maybe not so many in Asia and the USA, but I'm pretty suire Changi is hardly overcome by any one else. So many things to do, so many details making the passenger visit worth the time one is spending, so many beautiful shops, so many free Internet access (why is that in Europe those are disappeared??? Don't tell me it's because of "security" reason because that would also apply to so many other places), so peaceful arrangements, so many great ideas as the outside cactus and sunflower gardens.... by ATXtraveler Singapore's Changi Airport is a busy little port for such a small country! SIN is the major hub for Singapore Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance. It is also home to many flights for British Airways and Qantas, so there are plenty of OneWorld Alliance options as well. Singapore as a whole is regarded as a little east meets west, so I am positive you will have no trouble navigating this airport. I have been through it several times now for business and pleasure, and each time was relatively painless! Leave a Comment

Taxi in Downtown by Carino Taking the taxi from the airport to downtow is the fastest and most convenient way. Price depends very much on the traffic. The cheapest fare I've ever go was 16 S$. On the way from the airport, the driver may ask which way you prefer. As you probably don't know, he will take the longer and therefore most expensiv one. But it is still cheap. Don't worry. On the way to the airport, don't forget to mention which terminal you are taking off from. Leave a Comment

changi hotel shuttle by nezz I've just found this website. www.changiairport.com/changi/en/airport_guide/tofrom_ap/ap_tocity.html . Tells you all about transfers from the airport to the city. It says the airport shuttle leaves every 30 minutes after midnight. But for the little bit extra that you pay & with a sleepy child for company it is worth catching a taxi at that time of the morning. But it's all on the webite. Have a great trip. Leave a Comment

by Yob Its nice arriving Singapore without having worries of getting a transport from the airport to hotel. With Singapore Airlines they have a bus -- dropping you off to your hotel. One warning: just make sure you can carry your bags coz the driver is quite hesitant in assisting you bringing in your stuffs. Leave a Comment

Singapore Mass Rapid Transit map by aukahkay Budget rides to the city and other parts of the island can be made on the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) services. The MRT station is located in Terminal 2 and is also accessible via the Skytrain from Terminal 1. It takes about 27 minutes to reach the city. You would have to switch trains at EW4 - Tanah Merah MRT Station to get downtown. It costs about S$2.00 for a ride down to Orchard Road area. Don't forget to claim back your S$1 refundable deposit for a single trip ticket. Leave a Comment

Changi MRT link by stmlnyc Changi Airport lived up to its reputation as modern and efficient, especially its link to the MRT subway system. Definitely one of the best airports in the world. If you have an early morning flight like I did, you can sleep at the airport---the chairs are uncomfortable though, try the floor or a booth at one of the airport eateries. Changi T3 Arrivals - baggage collection area by jamie_uk, 1 more photos After being regularly subjected to the hell that is Heathrow T3, it comes as a shock to discover the delightful new T3 at Singapore Changi Airport. The arrivals hall is out of this world - and almost deserted because they process the passengers so efficiently: * Multiple jetways to disembark the aircraft * No queue for immigration * Luggage already on the carousel when you get through * Controlled Taxi Queue * No dodgy tour reps or taxi touts The departure hall is just the same - spacious, quiet, clean, and with excellent facilites including the best restaurants I have seen at an airport. Brewerkz and Imperial Treasure dumpling restaurants are fab ! Also a swimming pool and cinema available if you have a long transit time !
