Hiking in Singapore: Sungei Buloh

While most people think we Singaporeans live in an urban jungle. They might be right. We live in an urban city and next to our city is still pretty much a jungle! Pockets of original greenery still occupy our little island. And in some pockets, you can still see swamps, monitor lizards, snakes, etc.
Sungei Buloh is a beautiful wetland reserve in the northern end of Singapore. Though a tad far, it's worth taking a hike in this beautiful place as you can see all sorts of plants and animals over here.The main draw here is the wooden stilt structures that weave through the mangroves.
