Favorite thing: The Biopolis (a research hub across the road from Buona Vista MRT station) offers great views of the surrounding areas because the buildings here at high up.

Favorite thing: One of the interesting things about the old HDB residential flats at Tanglin Halt is the narrow corridor areas on the ground floor (see photo) of the taller flats. This is usually a meeting place for neighbours and visitors :)

Favorite thing: The architecture of many of the old HDB residential flats at Tanglin Halt date back to many years ago (in the 1960s) when Singapore became independent and start building many of such flats for the local population. These flats have been gradually replaced by new ones in many other areas, but Tanglin Halt have survived till now.

Favorite thing: When you are at Tanglin Halt, you will notice that there are many sheltered walkways for the residents which are good especially when it rains. In fact, the government of Singapore is building many of such walkways in residential areas all over the island.
