The Tanjong Pagar food centre is located at the Tanjong Pagar Plaza area just across the Amara Hotel and near to the Tanjong Pagar MRT station (sub-way).
This area is very busy with lots of people, office workers as the Shenton Way commercial area is nearby. The food centre is located on the 2nd floor while the market is located on the 1st floor. You will see many fruit stores at the market area and there is a NTUC supermarket nearby as well.

The Murray Terrace Food Alley is located along Murray Street just across the road to the famous Maxwell Road food centre. There are rows of restaurants and food outlets here for you to choose from, with great variety e.g. Chinese, Japanese, western etc.

The Maxwell Food Centre located at the junctions of Tanjong Pagar Roard, Maxwell Road and South Bridge Road is one of the famous food centres in Singapore. This food centre serves many delicious local dishes and very crowded. The famous food food here include:
- Porridge
- Fish noodles
- Chicken rice
- Local delights
If you want to eat the famous food, be prepared for the long queues and waiting time.
