Cable Car Ride

by sudhiira

catching the sunset suspended in wire can be one great experience. Take the cable car going to the island of Sentosa, advisable to take the return trip which gives you four stops. One: going to the island Two. three. four: Going round Mt Faber after the sentosa experience. On christmas season, its best to catch the ride at night getting the scene of the giant christmas tree.

Freebies itineraries!

by June.b

The visit at the largest fountain of course is free! Worth a visit too (and free) is the Sri Mariamman Temple and the Chinatown, a night visit to Lau Pha Sat Market and sample some hawker food, walk around Little India with its charming old shophouses, window-shopping (you might spot something you long to buy) at Orchard Road with its huge malls, take the Promenade walk and watch the world's busiest harbour, visit the Sultan Mosque.... and do a lot of walking... Singapore is a very small city/nation, it's fun!

Experience having breakfast with Birds?

by June.b

Large aviary collections at Jurong Bird Park. The main activity is taking the panorail ride and watch birds fly on trees or take photos witht he parakeets, parrots and other colourful birds. What about having a wedding at the park with the cockatoo as the ring bearer? They also have the afternoon allstar birds show.I visited this park once and it's worth it at S$14 admission for adults, 7 for child... or you can also combine the bird park & night safari package at S$25 / 10.Don't forget to bring your cameras with you, you'll do a lot of takings to do!

Night Safari

by June.b

World's first night safari at Singaproe Zoo is fun and a different kind of experience. Take the 45-minute tram ride and watch over 1000 animals of various species which are mostly active at night. If I only have two attractions to visit in Singapore, it will be the Sentosa and the Night Safari.Open from 7:30 til midnight, admission is at S$18 for adults & 9 for kids 3 to 12 years old.

Sentosa Island

by June.b

This 500-hectare resort island is a premier one-stop tourist destination in far-east asia. Take the cable car ride from Mt. Faber to reach the attractions and get a bird's eye view of the whole island as well.It is one of Singapore's main attractions complete with five star hotel accommodations, it's own pristine beach resort, golf course, theme park with lots of exciting rides, the famous underwater world oceanarium- largest in asia, gardens & nature walk parks, animals and birds encounters, and of course end the day with the amazing musical fountain & laser show when the night falls. So many attractions, so little time.Singapore visit would not be complete with the Sentosa experience!

Located at Suntec City in the Marina Center area, the Fountain Plaza is regarded by Guinness Book of Records (1998) as the largest fountain in the world with 1683 meters in total area. The fountain is being held by four bronze legs of about 14 meters high. The flowing water in the fountain symbolizes essence of life. The Suntec City is a huge complex, a city in itself with shopping malls, office towers, entertainment & dining experience, and convention & exhibition halls.
