Singapore is a city country, MRT or bus was really helpfull for getting around the country. Especially MRT for me.
The estimated walking time stated in the guides should be multiplied by 2 or 3 to get the actual walking time. Unless they walk really fast.
The public transport is amazing and very cheap. The MRT (the underground system) is efficient and immaculate, and conects the most popular routes. The buses are also very efficient as are the taxis.
