Woodlands New Town Travel Guide

At Woodlands Town,you find everywhere there a 'Food court' as local call it coffeeshop,where there you will never be alone,all kind of food availabe,from Malay, Chinese,Indian and Western foods..where been serve and prepared by Chinese or Malay...cook.and some of the so call 'coffeshop' was operate for 24hrs...and you will always see and watch the locals patronise the place...round the clock

Favorite Dish: my favorite dish of course fish grill and Indian Rojak,,why I say that,the fish grill was fresh fish,where it was serve with salad,special made sauce(homemade) and also fill-up with crispy french fries.For the Indian rojak,can say that you choose your what you want such as egg fried with flour,cuttle fish cook with special ingredient, prawn than been fried with flour and many more than I couldnt explain untill you try it yourself,It serve with a homemade gravy red in colour but not that hot,just like a barbecue sauce.wow...

Woodlands town is by far, one of the most well-connected town in Singapore - by bus that is. Even though there's the MRT, u dont want to be standing all d way to city. I suggest d many express buses out of Woodlands: SMRT 965 to Sengkang, SMRT 969 to Tampines, SMRT 858 to Changi Airport, SBST 161 to Sengkang/Hougang, SBST 168 to Tampines/Bedok, SMRT 966 to Marine Parade/East Coast Park. In fact, Woodlands has d most no of bus services plying d expressways, so ditch the train, get onboard one of the SMRT or SBST bus servises. (Yeah, TIBS, the one wif yellow buses is now known as SMRT Buses and repainted red, so dont get confused wif SBST buses). And being a SMRT-controlled town, Woodlands has majority SMRT bus svcs except for 2 SBST ones.

we have multi racial staying around Woodlands,for local here life quiet simple in the meaning we just ignore what others do,unless someone that we know and always meet,then we will comunicate if not a 'Smile' will be our conversation to someone we donot know.You will find in Woodlands Town, there a Church for the Christian, Indian Temple, Chinese Temple and Muslim Mosque...is simple life environment here...smile mean so much

Can say anypart of Singapore especially Woolands Town,you are likely save cause every few Housing Blocks there located a Neighbouhood Police post,and our Police on patroll can say very frequent you may see them..But only what you need to avoid is to walk near to construction area,where there are many foreign worker,working for the building of the area,even here theres a strict regulation apply for the foreign worker,as the are living in a Dominotory and was watch and monitor by a superior,security guards, and of cause the nearest Police Post was observing the area,but still personal rights and previlege the Authority will never intefere, as they foreign worker may gather,do some shopping in nearby shop,etc.....so..just for your safety wise...be alert...cause crime has no holiday...
