Gochang-eup Fortress also known as Moyangseong was built in 1453, King Danjong, Joseon Dynasty. This fortress is 1,684m in circumference, 4~6m high and 165,858 square meters in area. There are three half-moon-shaped protrusions, six parapet structure and moats. This fortress was one of most beatuful and as well preserved fortress of Korea.
