Suanbo Hot Springs is located south of downtown Chungju City.
This historical spring has existed since 1018, according to the Goryeosa History Book.
The water temperature is about 53 degrees Celsius and the water contains various useful minerals which are known to be effective for neuralgia, skin diseases, gastrointestinal diseases and fatigue.

One of Korea's most famous limestone caves, it gets its share of visitors every day, especially during the hot summer months.
During the afternoons on weekends and holidays, it can become quite claustrophobic inside.
Many of the chambers are quite striking with their displays of stalactites and stalagmites.

Chungjuho Lake along Danyang Palgyeong, the "Eight Scenic Wonders" of the limestone region surrounding Danyang is an absolutely must see here! The man make lake was once a river until the construction of Chungju Multipurpose Dam in year 1985. The water of the dam is used to supply daily use for 20 million people around Seoul Metropolitan.

Favorite thing: Located in Tanyang-gun, the time no less than four hundred fifty million years has created the limestone cave with their displays of stalactites and stalagmites, streching over 1.7 kms long. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

Favorite thing: There are abundant of hot springs around in Chungju such as Suanbo Hot Spring, which reowned for improving health, is a good medication for skin disease.
Fondest memory: Indoor hot spring bath normally have separated room for male and female. But, prepare to be fully naked in the pool, even towel is not allowed!
