  • Rent a Cab for a Day!

We didn't feel confident about driving in Jeju, as it was the winter season (wet and slippery roads) and the vehicles are left-hand drive. Hence, we contacted our hotel before we arrived, and asked them to recommend a taxi driver to us. Our plan was to rent the cab for our sightseeing trips. Our hotel was located in Seogwipo, and the rental cost...

The best way to travel around Jeju-do is by car. I rented mine from Haeun Rentacar. It cost 70,000 won per day, for a top-of-the range 2.0 l automatic Sonata with an in-car navigation system, which not only guides you to every location, but also warns you about approaching speed limits and police cameras. This is very necessary on Jeju-do, where...

Unless renting a car works, one of the ways to get around Jeju island is to hire a taxi for a day. Especially if you have a party with four people, the cost can be split up and is not unreasonable. Make sure you bargain wth the taxi driver to get a good rate. I cant remember exactly how much we paid, but it wasnt unreasonable for the day.
