PArt 2 of Tips on Vivaldi Ocean World (more pictures!)
Daemyung Vivaldi Resort is more famous as a ski resort however it is not the only attraction! It also boast of a huge water themed park or complex called Ocean World!. Ocean World is an Egyptian Inspired Water theme complex inside Vivaldi Resort and is divided into 2 zones, the Indoor Aqua Zone and the Outdoor World's Extreme Zone (unfortunately, it was raining very hard when were there hence the outside zone was closed). Hey it was supposed to be summer in South Korea but when we went there, It was Raining cats and dogs! (talk about global warming).

Caveat: Mine was part of individual packaged tour so I copied the local rates and transportation to to Vivaldi Resort above in the Vivaldi Brochure.
Another Caveat: in the sauna in aqua world, guys and girls are SEPARATED since bathing in the various hot pool sauna means YOU must be NAKED! (hence I only have a picture of the locker here since camera's are off limits in the sauna pools!)

Vivaldi Resort claims that they have the best snow for skiing during winter time (off course I can't verfify that since I been here during summer season) and they also claim that visitors to Vivaldi Park can enjoy both daytime and nighttime skiing with ease. The slope with a width ranging from 60 to 150m and a 5-degree slope is ideal for beginning skiers. (maybe I should go back here during winter time).
For skiing fanatics who prefer mogul courses or wave courses, a special course 300m long, 40m wide, and with a slope of 28 degrees is the perfect thrill. The intermediate slope with a width of about 100m is popular with carving skiers and beginning snowboarders. Most slopes are open to snowboarders and you don't need to rent equipment at the resort, outside hongcheon, there are lots of big houses with ski equipment rentals (I saw them on the way to vivialdi but off course they are closed but the show windows are open!)
