Located not far from the Bongpo marina.
Walk north on the main street, about 100m from the marina entrance. You can't miss the balcony overlooking the beach/sea, or the smell of bbq.
Typical galbi restaurant.
Hot grill in the centre of the table. Grill your meat, and wrap with leaves.
Meat was fresh and good, and the price was not expensive.

This place doesn't look very special, but looks are deceiving. The food is great!
The first floor is nothing but tanks of various sea critters moving about, unaware that they'll soon be your dinner.
Point out what you want, pay for it, and watch them prepare it for you fresh, and either raw or cooked.
Outside are many picnic tables overlooking the beach and islands.
Right off the boat, prepared, and into your mouth still wiggling...
Price varies. Depends on how adventurous you want to be with your food.

Address: On the beach, 10 minutes north of Sokcho.
This is really a nondescript little place that uses huge jerry cans as tables, but heck, the food here is delicious and you can eat as much as you want for under $10 !
Go there slightly ealier than 7pm as the little shop is crowded with locals. As you go there, indicate to the helpful owner that you want to eat there and she'll assign you a table.
Favorite Dish: The grilled, marinated octupus from this place is really really good. You can tell that from the big grin on my face.

En route to Seoraksan, my tour bus stopped here for a while. It was worth it; this town has a beautiful Buddhist Temple, and some fine views of the beach.
