Manhattan is one of the main places expats go in Ansan if they do not go to downtown Seoul. The bar is quite spacious. There's a few dart boards (both electronic and hard tip). There is a jukebox with a fair amount of music to choose from. Sometimes they opt to control the music by the computer behind the bar, but usually it is the jukebox.

Hang Out is a typical hole-in-the-wall western bar. The bar may be pretty tame on weekdays, but this may be a better time to talk to the owners and have your own private music selections played. The owner, Ozzy, has about a thousand music albums on LP.
Also, there is a drum set, a few guitars and bass which allow for impromptu jam sessions.
There is a regular trivia contest weekly on Thursdays. It usually starts about 11pm since the local expats work evenings.

Ansan is another built up neon metropolis on the southwest fringes of Seoul. While it is nothing particularly unique or exciting, it is comfortable enough. Feel free to visit my S Korea page for...
