After living in Korea for 6 months I can certainly say that something you must do if you visit Korea is spend a few hours in a norabang. What does a norabang involve? Well you pay for a room where you are provided with some snacks, and all of the karaoke that you could want. You get a thick book full of Korean and English songs, some large tv screens and a remote. You usually find that your hour will be 'topped up' free of charge to keep you in there, and you can usually get alcoholic drinks if you request them. Some of the best nights out I've had have ended with a norabang.
