Ansan is on the blue subway line which will get you into the edge of Seoul in in about 45 minutes. It's very easy to use and most places on the line have English translations (written and oral). Probably the best thing about travelling on the subway from Ansan to Seoul is that it costs about 1400 Won (80p), making it incredibly cheap to get into Seoul.
