Maybe it was just the time of year in which I visited Korea, Jan - Mar, but one of the most vulgar things I experienced while during my stay were the Koreans propencity to spit. And I'm not just talking quiet clearing of throat but that load nasal clearling hocking followed by the inevitable elimination of this nasty mucous whereever they may be at the time. Its safer to walk through the New York Yankees dugout then a Korean city street. Thank God Koreans have the custom of taking their shoes off before entering a restuarant. How'd you like to sit on those tiled floors for a meal if they didn't remove their shoes.?
