At the far northwestern end of Ilsan Lake Park is a massive fountain. In the evenings during the summer months, from 8:30 to 9:30, the fountain puts on a fantastic display orchestrated to an eclectic range of recognizable music from Korean to western styles. It's a great atmosphere with people of all ages and relationships appreciating the beauty of the show while picnicking on chicken and beer on a blanket or just taking a momentary rest on their bicycle seat. The best part is that it is absolutely free!

Right outside of Jeongbalsan station, there is a cemented park, offering some bits of foliage around the sides and the entrance. Walk through the middle of the cyclist jungle and sit yourself down for some good ol' fashion fun. For 500 won (beck won coin) you can enjoy about 3 minutes of fun driving mini cars around the incased amusement zone. Watch out of other cyclists or pedastrians or take the dangerous tour, at your own risk. Bumper cars are not widly acceptable, but with friends, it sure is fun. Once you've had enough of the cars, head on over to the line up of mini viking ships. If your afraid of heights, have no fear... It is also possible to rent mini motor bikes by the half hour. The shops are lined outside the edges of the park, across the street on the same side of the Western Dom. Be weary, you must provide foreign ID and a lot of the bikes are damaged. The last time we went, the clerk tried to make us pay for damages that were already inflicted on the bike prior to our renting. But it was still definitely a fun experience.
Lake Park, is just over the bridge across the concrete jungle. Take a stroll around the park to the toliet museum (its downstairs, so it might be hard to find a landmark... just check out the map), the cactus farm, and watch the waterfall or hang out in the pagoda.
