Now if you're going to Everland on your own, do yourself a favour and visit the theme park website to print yourself a discount voucher. You'll save 2,000 won on the usual 33,000 won entrance fee. For kids below 13, you pay 22,000 ( after a discount). I've provided the weblink, haha. Alternatively, visit the Korean National Tourism Office in your hometown ( check www.knto.com to see if your country has one ) and request for an Everland brochure. The discount is in the brochure!

this in Magic Land part of Everland. We had a 4d ride with a korean monkey hero and into a jungle river cruise (similar to disneyland) and the waiting time was 1 hour and the ride was about 6 minutes and I was also soaked there.

this the part where we rode the rafts in the wild river ride. Since this was a holiday, it was jampacked and the waiting time was about 45 minutes. the ride took about 5 minute and was exhilarating and I was soaked. see my videos.

this is a continuation of our everland trip and here we are at zootopia, watching different species of animals and enjoying the animal show (caveat: the animal show is in korean so have an interpreter in there while watching!). the animal show features several acts and skits with a parody of peter pan and it lasts for 20 minutes.

Everland is a Huge Amusement Complex located in Yongin City, about 50 kilometers from seoul. Everland is Composed of 3 huge theme areas, the Disney Like Festival World (with 5 sub-areas), the Carribbean Bay, a large water-themed park and Speedway, the race themed area. It is patterned more like Disneyworld than Disneyland. this is the larger of the 2 main theme parks in South Korea (the other is Lotte World, but for lack of time, I did not go there).

There is a huge flower garden with colourful flowers in various shapes and display, as well as fountains, stone sculptures etc. Not to be missed when you are at Yongin Everland and more photos are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

Around 9pm at the flower garden area, there is a huge stage with very good performance plus laser show and fireworks display. Go there earlier and get a good seat as it will be very crowded when the show starts. More photos are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

There is a very colourful and impressive float parade around 8pm along the walkways of Yongin Everland and this is not to be missed when you are there. More photos are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

One of the main attractions of Yongin Everland is the Safari World where you take a bus ride to get really close to some big animals such as tigers, lions, leopards and bears. Be prepared for a long queue during the weekends and/or peak season such as summer.

There are many different types of rides in the theme park, ranging from roller coaster, viking, ferris wheel etc. The important thing to note is to know you own capability because some of these rides can be very scary. Most of these rides open until at night when the park closes around 10pm.
